This year’s BARDEHLE PAGENBERG Symposium discussed the pros and cons of the current legal protection for software in Germany. Does patent protection for software offer an incentive for innovation and a fair balance of interests, or is it an impediment for industry?
Important representatives of science, industry and the patent community presented with great verve their respective points of view. Also the ensuing discussion among some 70 attendees developed into a vivid debate. During the evening program, guests and members of the firm enjoyed the summer evening with a festive dinner and harp music. More information on the speakers and the program (in German) available here
