Stefan Abel’s clients include an international French manufacturer of leather goods and accessories in a series of counterfeit and piracy cases and a US manufacturer of medical devices in a series of parallel import cases in a number of European countries. He also advises a popular television station and several film production companies in the fields of trademark and unfair competition law as well as in copyright matters.
Stefan Abel serves as a panellist in domain name arbitration proceedings at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva. He also lectures at the University of Strasbourg's Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) and regularly publishes articles relating to his fields of practice (see publications).
